Gutters

Gutters must slope downward a minimum of 1/4" for every 5'-10' of gutter. You might be able to raise a gutter by bending its hangers. Gutters aren't glamorous, but unless you have long overhangs on your roof and your property is steeply graded, they are necessary for routing roof runoff away from your home.
