Rolled Roofing

Rolled roofing is what is typically used on buildings like chicken pens and other roofs where aesthetics is not an argument but stopping leaks is. Rolled roofing can also be used to help prevent leaks in association with other types of roofing. Rolled roofing, as the name suggests, is a kind of roofing material that is available in rolls. It is made of felt or fiberglass and coated with asphalt.

Rolled roofing is very cheap and easy to install, however it does not have the life expectancy or as pleasing an appearance as other types of roofing. Asphalt rolled roofing is not applicable to all kinds of roofing; it can only be installed in a flat to a low-slope roofing to attain best results.
